Meet Ruby!
She is a sweet, active senior girl, looking for her forever home.
Ruby was taken to a vet in southern NJ, to be put to sleep, because her owner was no longer able to care for her. The wonderful vet explained to the owner that she felt Ruby had too much life ahead of her, and she was too healthy to be put to sleep. She suggested surrendering her to Rescue, they agreed, and so we brought her to Sherry’s Place Rescue.
Ruby has since been brought up to date on all of her vaccinations, had her blood work done, nails clipped, groomed, and gotten a dental, to get her ready for her new home. She loves squeaky toys, car rides, walks, snuggles, lap time, and can kill a tennis ball in 3 minutes flat.
She is a senior, and needs a bit of extra care, as do all seniors, so is looking for a home who understands that. She gets along with other dogs, but would probably love to be an only dog, to get all of the attention she craves and deserves.
We are not certain of her exact age, but whatever it is she does not act it! The vet believes she is around 12.
Ruby is 9.5 pounds, and her adoption fee is $295.
